Hello! I’m Dr Lauren Anderson and I am a GP just for children.
I graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2013, completed my internship, and have been working with children ever since. I started at Red Cross Children’s Hospital and then moved to Mitchell’s Plain District Hospital. During my four years in the Department of Paediatrics and Neonatology, I attained my Diploma in Child Health and have since brought all my experience to my very own GP practice.
I love working with families and providing medical care that takes the full context of every child into account. After becoming a mother, I can much better appreciate the concerns and challenges of being a parent.
