Light Valley Solar is a proposed 500MW solar farm with battery storage near Selby, North Yorkshire, designed to power approximately 115,000 homes annually. A 500MW grid connection to the transmission network has been secured. The proposals include five sites where solar panels could be installed, located between Monk Fryston, Hambleton, Eggborough and Escrick.
